Designed by one of the greatest Polish architects Zygmunt Gorlewski, the palace was built in 1886 for Tadeusz Twardowski, a Polish nobleman and landlord. This outstanding building represents the essence of neo-renaissance architecture: raw masonry façades with sandstone details and steep roofs with numerous pinnacles, towers and chimneys; all contributing to the eminence of the palace.
Interiors include large spaces with remarkable headrooms, authentic moulded cornices, finest plasterwork and stone fireplaces. The property enjoys impressive driveway leading to the palace, neighbouring stables and a stunning large park including a pond with an Island which together create an incredible impression on arriving guests.
In 1990 the building has been fully refurbished and fitted with modern services, becoming a private hotel.
